The Opportunity 

We are seeking a Power Platform Business Consultant to join our Apps, Agents & Automation team. 

This role works with clients to analyse business operations, identify opportunities for organisational improvement and design technology-enabled solutions that improve efficiency, governance and service delivery. The successful candidate will engage with stakeholders to understand business requirements, recommend improvements to processes and information management practices, and support the implementation of solutions that enable organisational change and operational excellence. 

The role combines business consulting, process improvement, stakeholder engagement, governance and solution delivery within a customer-facing consulting environment. 

Key Responsibilities 

Business Analysis and Organisational Improvement 

• Analyse business processes, operational workflows and information management practices to identify opportunities for improvement. 

• Conduct workshops, stakeholder interviews and requirements gathering activities to understand customer needs and business objectives. 

• Review organisational processes and existing ways of working to identify inefficiencies, risks and improvement opportunities. 

• Develop recommendations to improve operational effectiveness, governance, compliance and service delivery outcomes. 

• Prepare business requirements, process maps, business cases, reports and recommendations for stakeholders and decision-makers. 

• Support organisations in the planning and implementation of business transformation initiatives. 

Stakeholder Engagement and Advisory 

• Build trusted relationships with business stakeholders, project teams and customer representatives. 

• Facilitate discussions to align business objectives, operational requirements and technology outcomes. 

• Present findings, recommendations and improvement opportunities to stakeholders at varying levels of seniority. 

• Provide advice and guidance to support business process optimisation and organisational change initiatives. 

• Support user adoption through communication, training and change management activities. 

Solution Design and Delivery 

• Translate business requirements into fit-for-purpose technology-enabled solutions. 

• Support the design and implementation of business applications, workflow automation and information management solutions using Microsoft technologies including Power Platform. 

• Collaborate with consultants, architects and project teams to deliver customer engagements. 

• Participate in solution testing, deployment and continuous improvement activities. 

• Ensure solutions are aligned with governance, compliance and security requirements. 

Continuous Improvement and Professional Development 

• Maintain current knowledge of business improvement methodologies, change management practices and technology trends. 

• Contribute to best practices, delivery methodologies and organisational knowledge sharing. 

• Support business development activities, customer workshops and proposal preparation. 

• Participate in professional development and relevant industry certifications. 

Skills and Experience 

Essential 

• Experience analysing business processes and identifying opportunities for operational improvement. 

• Experience gathering, documenting and managing business requirements. 

• Experience facilitating stakeholder workshops and requirements discovery sessions. 

• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills. 

• Experience delivering business transformation, process improvement or organisational change initiatives. 

• Ability to engage effectively with both business and technical stakeholders. 

• Experience preparing reports, recommendations and business documentation. 

Desirable 

• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate and related technologies. 

• Experience supporting workflow automation or digital transformation initiatives. 

• Knowledge of governance, change management or information management frameworks. 

• Microsoft certifications or relevant business analysis qualifications. 

• Experience working within a consulting or professional services environment.

The salary range for this role is between $80,000 - $90,000 plus super.
